A very fancy wine country spreadsheet

I was gone last week… visiting California’s wine country. Did you miss me? Did you even know I was gone? Probably not because I am a very fancy blogger who knows how to pre-schedule posts. Very. Fancy.

Well, I missed you… as much as I could whilst sampling wine and relaxing in the most posh (poshest?) hotel room we’ve ever booked. Seriously, though, I snapped some pictures and have plenty of details to share… hopefully over the course of this week. But don’t hold me to that. I’m just now getting back into the swing of things.

For today, I’ll give you a glimpse of the pre-planning that went into this trip.

I pulled a super nerdy move and created an elaborate spreadsheet of possible wineries to visit. It’s complete with a rating system and rationale explaining each rating. And it’s sorted… twice (a very fancy move for an Excel novice like me). First by rating, then by whether we can get a free tasting – denoted in green – thanks to our wine country pass (link forthcoming in a future post).

Like I said, I’m very fancy.

I was actually thinking of you when I wrote this post. I thought you’d appreciate the humor :)
